This week PTSD Spirituality is the guest post at Michele Rosenthal’s Heal My PTSD website. If my website were to ever grow up, it would take some of its design tips from Michele’s site. She has a wealth of information and materials to help deal with PTSD. The essay from PTSD Spirituality which appears on the “Heal My PTSD” site is about understanding and dealing with PTSD triggers.
While experiencing PTSD-producing trauma is bad enough, spending the rest of our lives sensitive to triggers is awful. We know that our sensitivities can become more acute or diminished depending on what else is going on in our lives and also what steps we are taking to learn about our triggers.
Here is the link for all of the PTSD Triggers essays on the PTSD Spirituality website. I hope that some of the information there is helpful and healing for you.
You will also find good information on Michelle’s Heal My PTSD website.
Bottom Line: You are not alone in your PTSD Journey. You can learn to take control of your PTSD triggers so as to not be controlled by them day to day.
